We've teamed up with Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) for the the Air Ambulance KSS Mission challenge pack and badge. Brownies, Guides and Rangers can gain exciting insight into the charity’s vital work and find out more about the emergency medical services, aviation, the basic lifesaving skills of CPR and defibrillation and the importance of community support and fundraising.
To complete the challenge, young members will complete KSS 'missions', covering everything from when and how to call 999, to knowing how to help save the life of someone in cardiac arrest, learning some basic aviation skills and the importance of staying fit and healthy for a career in Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS).
