Join our social walking weekend in the Peak District and explore the beautiful hills and dales.
This is a social walking weekend for adults in Girlguiding. We invite you to join us in the Peak District to explore the beautiful hills and dales. We are a friendly group and will provide some informal training if wanted. You can be involved in planning and leading the walks, or you can just come along to join the group or do a walk of your own choice. You can find out more about the walking scheme and get some log book walks in, or simply come and enjoy good company and great scenery. We plan to drive about 30 minutes north of the centre to do walks in the Hathersage, Ladybower and Bleaklow areas.

Transport
Please arrange your own transport. If you would like to share your details and arrange shared transport between people coming that would be good, or if you need collecting from Matlock train station, please let us know on the booking form.
Meals
The following meals are included in the cost of the event: Saturday and Sunday breakfast, Saturday and Sunday packed lunches and Saturday dinner. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout.
Kit
You will need appropriate clothing for going walking in March, with comfortable, warm and waterproof clothing plus walking boots. Further details will be sent in the joining instructions.
Cost includes dormitory accommodation with bunk beds. You will need to bring your own sheets/duvet/sleeping bag, pillow and towel.

Access is via a narrow lane and parking is limited. Some vehicles may need to park at the bottom of the hill about 200m away.
