Peer education training success

20 young members from 12 counties across the region became peer educators at our latest training session this weekend, held at Willow Tree Centre in Middlesex West. 7 returning peer educators also joined us for topic training in Think Resilient.

Best of luck to all of you as you start to deliver Think Resilient sessions in your area!

The weekend was a great opportunity to improve my confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment. I’ve met so many people as well as advancing my leadership skills and ability to think resilient.

Thank you to our incredible catering team Jenni and Piper from Middlesex West, outstanding first aider Ellie from Middlesex East, and energetic peer education trainers Beth, Chloe and Maddie for contributing so much time, energy and fun into this hugely successful weekend.

Let’s keep our newly trained Peer Educators busy – request a Think Resilient session for your Brownie, Guide or Ranger unit. Why not consider a session for your guiding holidays and camps!

Are you a Ranger, young leader or adult member aged 14 – 25? Interested in becoming a peer educator? Our next full training weekend will be in September 2025. Register your interest and be the first to hear when registration opens.

A must-do opportunity. I learnt so many skills that have helped me develop my confidence, and create a hope inside of me of doing that for others.
