The region holds the honour of representing Girlguiding at the Cenotaph commemorations on Remembrance Sunday as part of the youth column. This year we were represented by 35 young members and leaders from Sussex Central County. You can see them on BBC iPlayer around 2hrs 22mins.
23 Rangers, young leaders and adult volunteers from the Middlesex North West county had the honour of volunteering at the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday 9 November at the Royal Albert Hall. The volunteers sold poppies and programmes to support the Royal British Legion.
Region wide
Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and volunteers from all over the region marked Remembrance at local events and in unit meetings.
